Avondale School District is comprised of four traditional elementary schools, a Gifted & Talented school, a middle school, a traditional high school, an adult transitional program, and an online diploma and career institute.

 We serve the Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Troy, and Bloomfield Township areas, and we also openly welcomes families and students who live outside the school district through our School of Choice program. Supporting Every Step of Your Child’s Educational Journey

As families begin planning for the next step in their child’s academic journey, Avondale Schools is pleased to offer a series of upcoming parent nights and open houses designed to inform and support each transition.

From Preschool Open Houses and Kindergarten Signing Day to 5th Grade and 8th Grade Parent Nights, these events provide valuable opportunities to learn about what comes next, ask questions, and explore the many programs and experiences available to learners at every stage.

• January 28, 2026, 5:30PM: Avondale Gifted Programs Information Night at GATE Magnet School (GATE & K-1 Gifted Program)
• February 3, 2026, 6:00PM: Avondale Early Learning Center (ELC) Open Houses (Located in Auburn & Woodland Elementary Schools)
• February 4, 2026, 6:30PM: 8th Grade Parents Night at Avondale High School
• February 5, 2026, 6:00PM: 5th Grade Parents Night at Avondale Middle School
• March 4, 2026: TK/Kindergarten Signing Day (Round Up)
