Why is Avondale schools a great place to work? 

“Avondale is a great place to work because of the relationships both within the building with staff and the relationships that are built with the students. The staff were so collaborative, there’s times in which we need to step in and help each other out and there’s never a second thought. We always celebrate each other's successes. We even have a time to actually submit in shout outs, or even say our own successes, that other people are not aware of and the students here are wonderful. I work specifically with a certain caseload, but I know most of the building throughout the couple years of me being here. I know students that are outside my caseload and they’re great students for sure.”

Why is Avondale a great place for specialized students? 

“Avondale is a great place for the specialized students because of the courses that we offer them. We have specialized courses but also the team that they have surrounding them from when they enter, until they graduate. We have specialized courses for students with IEP’s specialized courses for students with English Language Development. We even have specialized courses for students who are accelerated, who need more of a challenge and then we have courses that are great for at-risk students to get them interested in the community, and building relationships within the school. They’re just a great course catalog here.”
