Career Development
For All Ages

We believe it's important to give students of all ages time and space to explore careers and job skills, and reflect on how these match their own personal skills and interests.
Research shows that when students understand the relationship between academics, career and education planning and achieving their own career goals, they can more clearly see the relevance and meaning in school, resulting in improved interest and academic performance. In other words, when students know where they are headed, learning in the classroom becomes more relevant and they are more motivated to learn. Career exploration and preparation also inspires hope and gives students a sense of purpose. All students should leave Avondale with a solid idea and plan for a successful future!
