Sharon Hyde is proud to serve as the Executive Director of Human Resources for the Avondale School District. She brings deep respect for all staff who contribute to the success of students and is committed to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and equitable work environment for every employee.
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Wayne State University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University, an Educational Specialist Degree from Oakland University, and a Certified Human Resource Specialist credential from Michigan State University.
With a career spanning multiple roles in public education—including middle and high school English and Social Studies Teacher, Small Learning Community Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Principal, and HR Executive Director—Sharon draws on her broad experience to strengthen district systems, support staff development, and uphold the values of professionalism and integrity. She is dedicated to ensuring that all employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to help students thrive.
