Avondale High School Graduation Information

Happy Graduation Day, Avondale! 🎓💜🐝

We look forward to celebrating and honoring the class of 2026 during Avondale High School's Commencement Ceremony tonight, Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 7:00pm.

As a reminder:

  • Doors to the fieldhouse will open at 6:00pm for seating 
  • Seniors should check in no later than 6:30pm
  • Guest parking will be available in the North and South lots at AHS
  • Seniors driving separately should park at Auburn Elementary, which will also be used for overflow parking
  • All tickets must be given to guests before arrival. We can NOT hold or distribute tickets on the day of graduation.
  • Once a ticket has been scanned, there is NO RE-ENTRY into the Fieldhouse.
  • At 7:00 PM, the Fieldhouse doors will temporarily close for the senior graduate procession. There will be no admittance to guests after 7:00 PM until the senior graduate procession has ended. Once all graduates are seated, the doors will reopen for guest seating. 
  • Balloons are NOT permitted inside the Fieldhouse and will not be held at the door. Balloons must be returned to the car. There have been past unfortunate incidents of balloons blocking other spectators' view or getting stuck in the rafters.
  •  All guests will enter through a security screening. Camera bags and purses are acceptable. We cannot allow any other backpacks or large bags into the venue. 
  • There is limited handicap parking available. There will be a complimentary shuttle service for those who need it. Shuttle Service will end at 9:30 PM.  
  • After commencement, graduates will reunite with their families and guests outside the school.
