I have been with the Avondale School District since February 2019, beginning my career in Human Resources and Enrollment. Over the years, I have discovered that my true passion lies in supporting others, particularly by assisting employees in navigating benefits, leaves of absence, and workplace injuries. While I may not have all the answers, I am always committed to finding it.
In August 2024, I became a member of the inaugural cohort of the Oakland Schools Human Resources Academy and am scheduled to graduate in June 2026. This experience has been especially valuable, as it is tailored specifically to Human Resources within public school settings.
Outside of Avondale, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Steven, and our three sons—Wyatt, Weston, and Willie. Much of our free time is spent watching and coaching their sports. I strive to approach each day with positivity and professionalism, believing that a positive attitude and a smile truly makes a difference.
