Robojackets Bring Home District Win and Impact Award

The team powered through playoffs as the first overall draft pick and secured a win for their alliance. This is just the beginning and robot development will continue throughout the season.

In addition to the event win, the team also earned the Impact Award—the most prestigious honor in FIRST Robotics—for the first time in team history. This award recognizes teams that make a significant impact in their schools and communities while serving as role models for the mission of FIRST.

The team's performance at this event places them in the top 10 (out of over 500 teams) for the first half of the qualifying season, and current projections expect to maintain that rank heading into the state championship. The RoboJackets will compete next in Livonia District Qualifying Event from April 2–4, followed by the Michigan State Championship April 16–18. If the team qualifies for the 9th consecutive year, they will advance to the FIRST World Championship April 29–May 2.
