Why is Avondale schools a great place to work?
“I like that Avondale is a smaller district, so it feels like it’s easy to be known and to know people, easy to collaborate with people in your building or across the district. I also like how diverse it is. It’s a suburban school, it’s like you get a taste of everything so that’s one of my favorite parts of working at Advondale. I think also because of the size of the district, you’re able to be creative. They are always open for new ideas which makes it a bit easier to make ideas happen. There’s less red tape to go through.”
Why is Avondale school is a great place for specialized students?
“Avondale great for specialized students for our special ed department really strong I think diversity piece is huge because kids can find their group or people like them or at least people that have some understanding of where they come from and again like the creativity piece as well as we have our gate school and so we offer that specialization as far as instruction and opportunity and there’s a lot of collaboration so kids can visit other schools. We’re working on a collaboration between the preschool across the road at Auburn and some of our ninth graders so they’re gonna like going down there.”
